Frankfurt - Anchorage (Alaska) with Eurowings, from 1 June to 2020
In the summer season 2020, Lufthansa Group announced several new routes departing from Frankfurt and Munich. These include the Frankfurt - Anchorage (Alaska) route with Eurowings.
The new route will be inaugurated on 1 June 2020. Eurowings will operate 3 weekly flights on the Frankfurt - Anchorage (Alaska) route, on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Below is the flight schedule!

The flights will be honored with Airbus A330-200 aircraft. Eurowings owns 7 A330-200 aircraft, which can carry between 270 and 310 passengers.
On this route, Eurowings will directly compete with the air carrier Condor. And the 2 European airlines are the only ones flying between Europe and Anchorage, Alaska. This airport is widely used for cargo flights. From here, all communities in Alaska are supplied with the necessary supplies.
